PULLING AND PUSHING
Where’s the joy, the bliss, the ease, Is it hiding beneath the breeze?
Where does the mind go when it sleeps? Is it in a dream, unseen?
Pull me here, pull me there, take me to a place so rare.
Am I just kidding, pretending to care, if this self realisation is really there?,
“Quiet” be still, drop to the space, what space? where even when you stare?
How can I find the stillness within? when the mind says you charlatan, you pretender of it all!
Where is the heart that knows so much?
Come take over, let me feel your beat, your rhythm, your heat.
Then I sit and breathe and make room for ease.
