Recognise 🤍💛🤍

The child upon the stairs,
praying please don’t shout my name.

I don’t want to play this game.
Knee high, to a grasshopper they say, a wee child at play,
Peacekeeper was my name,
Emotional dumping, physical punching, verbal abusing,
confusing,
the child holding that space, for all you to taste.
Saying I love you,
I see you,
I see your suffering and pain.
Not knowing of this game.
For I’ve traveled inside, felt it to,
its true,
Its like seeing yourself,
and wondering what to do,
Why don’t you recognise YOU xxxx
